This week we’ll be focusing on our Business Development Manager, Christian Williams, and providing a little insight into their everyday at Here’s The Plan.

What is an average day in your role?

My days vary massively from one to the next. I’m very fortunate that we are involved in so many great projects to help businesses across the UK achieve their sustainability goals. One morning I’ll be in Peterhead, looking at Solar PV Projects, before heading to Montrose to explain the benefits of Voltage Optimisation to one of our clients which will see them save 10% on their energy costs. Days spent in the office consist of calls with our trusted partners as we brainstorm new ways to bring exciting products and services to our clients! Every so often I can be found at one of our local Chamber of Commerce great networking events or perhaps lecturing on the commercialisation of sustainability!

What do you love most about what you do?

Everyday in my role as Business Development Manager I speak to an array of people. It’s always the best part of the job. Visiting parts of the country and unique business through my role is something I do not take for granted and is the reason I love what I do!

Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you.

I’ve recently begun boxing and had my first bout in Aberdeen at the Beach Ball room in December 2021. The whole team came to support me and thankfully I won! I’ve continued boxing and hope I can continue to grow in the sport.
