This week we'll be focusing on our Data Analyst, Ben Frame, and providing a little insight into their everyday at Here's The Plan.

What is an average day in your role?

Currently my role involves collating the latest invoices billed to our clients. I am part of a team that is responsible for maintaining our records of these invoices so that we can retrieve them at will. Keeping our data up-to-date and tidy is essential for my other major role, invoice validation. My colleague Stephen and I are responsible for ensuring that our clients invoices have been billed correctly. This is an essential task to make sure that our customers aren’t being overcharged for their bills.

As a side project, I’ve been using my skills in software development to automate some of our processes. Recently I have been writing SQL commands to collate tables of data to make reports with. Additionally I make weekly presentations to the team demonstrating various IT tips and tricks I have found that would be helpful for the team.

What do you love most about what you do?

I am a bit of a neat freak and so anything to do with methodically organising is right up my street (as sad as it sounds)! I also love how I can get to use my software development skills to make not just my job easier but other people’s jobs easier too.

Do you have any pets?

I have a very laidback black lab called Bella who sleeps all day and obsessed with food.
