What is an average day in your role?

No two days are the same which can be a good thing! I find the most enjoyable aspect of the job analysing and studying the market and determining a suitable time to buy energy for both fixed and flex contracts. Once the energy has been bought then day to day account management takes over, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What do you love most about what you do?

• Market analysis and purchasing energy
• Discussing renewals and pricing with clients and suppliers
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Weekly Training sessions with the staff
• Teams meeting with clients
• Constantly learning new things

I am a keen walker clocking up the equivalent of a marathon each week. During Doddie Aid I walked 400 miles.
