This past week as some of our staff return from the British Chamber of Commerce AGM in London where the theme was Planet, People, Progress we've been reflecting on our achievements in these areas. This week we wanted to share with you all the work we've been doing for our Planet.
Environmentally friendly activities and behaviours are at the heart of everything Here’s The Plan stands for as a business. We are passionate about helping our clients sustain positive change, we are always inspired by organisations large and small come together for the greater good of our planet. Our very own Sam Grace and Christian Williams are Ambassadors for Circular Tayside, a group which brings like-minded businesses together to aid in the growth and development our local circular economy.
Both Sam and Christian played a large part in helping to create the Circular Tayside Charter. The charter allows businesses to be accredited for their fantastic efforts to moving their operations forward into a more circular and sustainable future.
Of course, we must practice what we preach and as a result of implementing the same methods to ourselves that we would our clients we’ve proudly reduced our 2019 emissions from 5622 kg CO2e to 3405 kg CO2e in 2021. We plan to build on these achievements and plan a further part in making Tayside one of the most sustainable areas of the UK.
We are delighted to have been presented with a silver level certificate from the charter for our work so far. By continuing to dedicate resources and time to developing our offerings we believe Here’s the Plan and our clients will all be able to achieve the highest level of certification in the charter in the years to come.
