This month, we shine the spotlight on Christina Carlon, our dedicated Senior Account Manager! Christina has an impressive 12 years in the energy industry, Christina has been a cornerstone of our team's growth and success. Starting as the fourth employee at MDG/HTP, she has witnessed and contributed to our expansion to 24 staff members, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way.

How long have you been in the energy industry and what’s one piece of advice you would give to someone new to our industry?

I have been with MDG/HTP for 12 years now and gained an encyclopaedia of knowledge. One piece of advice is always expecting the unexpected, every day is different, and you never know what is going to happen next!

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Something I have heard over the years is ‘always do the right thing even when nobody is watching’ or ‘you are what you repeatedly do, you can make excellence a habit’. What I take from it is you can make excellence a habit even when nobody is there to see it, the feeling you get knowing you done the right thing should be enough to drive you forward to do it again.

During your time at Here’s The Plan, what achievements are you particularly proud of?

When I first started with the MDG/HTP I was the 4th employee, now we have 24 members of staff. I am proud to be part of the journey and help the business develop and grow. I can’t wait to see what is ahead for the business and use my industry knowledge to help pass this onto new members of the team.

Tell us about your portfolio, what industries do you work with, what type of supplies do you manage?

I have a few of our larger multi-site clients in my portfolio ranging from bakeries to car dealerships. There is always something different happening and you must be prepared for anything the suppliers or regulators throw at your next.
