Austin is our Sustainability Coordinator, taking the lead on working towards arranging new connections for temporary building sites or permanent supplies on building extensions and the new market of exporting energy. With the energy demand surging in United Kingdom the first thought on consumers minds is how to become less reliant on the grid and more efficient with generation. Exporting energy tariff can be completed with power purchase agreements which allow businesses to make a profit on the surplus of energy they may generate from solar PV or wind turbines. Austin graduated from Abertay University in 2021 with a BSc Honours degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and is looking forward to helping businesses on their sustainable journey. Before joining us at Here’s The Plan he was working under the Circular Tayside initiative incorporating a sustainable work dynamic practice into Dundee city through formal meetings and providing online material.
