This month, we shine the spotlight on Jasmine Thomson, our dedicated Trainee Account Manager. Since joining the Here’s The Plan team this month, Jasmine has embraced refreshing and broadening her knowledge of the ever-changing energy industry. Let’s dive into Jasmine’s story!
What made you want to work for Here’s The Plan and what are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I have worked in Customer Services for over 10 years within the energy sector, public transport sector, motor trade and insurance industry. I am most looking forward to meeting new clients and building strong relationships through site visits – I really enjoy learning new things and making people happy and feel the diversity that comes with being an Account Manager and the immense support I’ve received even within my training will combine all of these factors and help me thrive in this role.
What’s the best advice you have ever received?
“You cannot control what happens, only how you react”. I feel this can be applied to both work and home life – the energy market can be very volatile so being adaptable is crucial and our job at Here’s The Plan is to ensure our clients feel confident in our promise to them every step of the way. Life in general can also be unpredictable but I have always found the unexpected has promoted the biggest growth in me.
Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.
I recently completed a charity skydive with my Mum for SBH (Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus) Scotland and raised £643.75 including gift aid with a combined total of £1,100.00 with my Mum. The charity helps children and parents affected by these life-changing complexities and relies mostly on donations so I’m really proud of this achievement!
